Organized Activities

Want to add an unique experience to your group event or perhaps you just want to come out for an archery session, either way we have you covered with organized activities. All organized activities are hosted by Camp High Hopes staff to ensure the best experience for your group. Hosting varies from recreational to instructional depending on how much time your group wishes to dedicate to each activity and the desired experience. All organized activities are setup on an hourly basis. The following are considered organized activities: canoeing/paddle boating, giant swing, fishing, archery, monkey tree (climbing), arts/craft, recreational game, nature education/science, and campfire. The sections below offer a glimpse into our specialized activity areas. For more detailed information, please see our current rental rates below.

Loggerhead Shrike Archery Shelter

Nothing says camp like archery. One of our most popular activities, our shelter can accommodate up to 16 shooters at a time, however, it is more typical to see a maximum of 8 shooters at a time to provide a more relaxed feeling. Archery activities use entry level compound bows and Easton aluminum arrows, following the National Archery in the Schools Program format for shooting and instruction. Fully accessible for archery activities and potential rainy day activities, Loggerhead Shrike is designed for any individual who wants to test their skills. For more information, please see our current rental rates below.

Pipit Fire Pit

A true camp gathering spot, Pipit Fire Pit provides a wonderful spot to gather as we welcome everyone to camp and enjoy camp songs, stories, skits, and s’mores. With seating for 60+ this is a great spot for any campfire planned by our staff or a private group gathering.

Sandpiper Beach

Sandpiper Beach is home to our lake’s waterfront access area. From here individuals enjoy our catch & release fishing, canoeing, and paddle boating activities. With a fishing dock, canoe dock, and plenty of shoreline, this is a great area for lake activities. For more information, please see our current rental rates below.

Monkey Tree

A truly unique activity, the monkey tree takes a new spin on climbing, allowing participants to test their climbing skills on a tree using a top rope belay setup and “monkey” holds instead of branches. As with all of our activities, adaptations are available to permit all participants to climb to their ability and skill. For more information, please see our current rental rates below.
