Over 20 campers came out to the Sioux City Country Club on Monday, August 30th to meet Kirk Hinrich during the 3rd Annual Kirk Hinrich Golf Event. Kirk is a NBA basketball player for the Washington Wizards and the Honorary Chair of the Camp High Hopes Where Smiles Happen Capital Campaign.
Future campers were provided a new Camp High Hopes t-shirt and had their photo taken with Kirk. Many future campers received Kirk’s autograph.
Thanks to all the parents, caregivers, and future campers who came out for this special day with Kirk!
What Parents Are Saying:
Thanks so much for providing the opportunity for Casey to meet Kirk Hinrich. It was wonderful for the kids and they think he is the bomb. What a wonderful young man he is and please thank him for us for all that he is doing to get Camp High Hopes off the ground. We are so grateful. Please let him know how much Casey enjoyed meeting him. -Diane Holgate and Casey White
Mikey was absolutely elated to meet and talk to him and he was so very gracious!! Mikey said it was “the best day of his life” and “MOM, can this day get ANY better???” and also said,”I feel CONFIDENT!!!” as we left the country club. I would like to thank him and also let him know how positively he impacted my son. Thank you so much! -Donna Garrett
