Camp High Hopes still has some spaces available in their summer camp programs for children, teens, and adults with disabilities.  Day camp sessions and sleep away camp sessions are offered throughout the summer season.

Our summer camp-based program focuses on providing a fun, safe, adaptive recreational environment for people with disabilities, their friends, and families.  We still have some spaces available in the various sessions that take place during the months of June, July and August .  Even though we are in the official late registration period for summer registration, we are waiving the late registration fee for any registrations received before May 18^th.  Over 75 individuals have already signed up for one of the available camp sessions where they will make new friends and memories at the accessible camp in Sioux City through a variety of activities that include nature education, sensory room, archery, swimming, astronomy, tie-dye, and so much more.

Parents and caregivers can register their child now for a variety of summer sessions including day camps and sleep away programs with fees ranging from $200 to $575.  The camp is a certified respite provider for Iowa and Nebraska.  Financial assistance may be available for families in need.  For more information or to register for a session, visit http://camphighhopes.com/about/for-parents/  or call 712-224-2267.

It’s that time of year again! This is the 3rd Annual BBQ Rib Fundraiser for Camp High Hopes! Place your order today for these delicious ribs that are only available during this fundraiser. Each rack of pork ribs are full cooked, pre-seasoned and then frozen by Cookies BBQ…just need warming.

Camp High Hopes Board Members and Staff will be “Guest Bartending” IN COSTUME at the bar area inside Eldon’s Restaurant on Singing Hills Blvd in Sioux City to help promote the non-profit camp and the camp’s annual fundraiser scheduled for October 19th called The Haunted Lodge Party (hence the costumes in March)!

The night will include:

• 20% of sales from the bar (from 6-8pm only) will be donated to Camp High Hopes.
• A rare chance to see Camp High Hopes Board members and Staff wearing their Halloween costumes in the middle of March.
